As title, would PAL Far Cry 2 work on my import PS3 without an HDTV?

PS3 games are region free so I don't see why not.

What he means is that there are issues when running some PS3 games on an SDTV. I can't remember the story exactly, something like bordering.

Import PS3's don't support 576p whereas PAL PS3's - and some PAL games - do. So some PAL games don't work at all on an import PS3 if you don't have an HDTV, which I don't at present!

Does nobody know or know where there's a list then?
