How you getting on with that by the way? Got anywhere near a one credit?
I'm still light years away from obtaining such a feat.

As for what I've been mainly playing...

Otogi and VJ occasionally. That's about it.

My games playing has been well off the boil lately. Although tomorrow, Knights Of The Old Republic is coming out, so hopefully it'll hook me back into some serious play time. I'm also hoping Amplitude and Psyvariar come out tomorrow too, but last I heard they'd both been frustratingly delayed by a few weeks.

        Hey! Practicing not allowed!

        I've been playing:

The Thing - Thanks to Gr0ver. Enjoying it at the mo, but definitely one to play in the dark and alone...

Robot Alchemic Drive - Japanese mecha weirdness. Very different from the normal genre, but the sense of scale is impressive. Hideous voice acting; i want to beat to death most of the main characters, and with typical Jap annoyance scenes are unskippable and repeated should you fail a mission.

Virtual on Marz - Well not actually playing yet, got it today, so soon...

Armored Core 3 Silent Line - Just kicking about tuning designs, trying new ideas and so on. Think Gran Turismo but with giant, gun-wielding robots; oh and no racing. Should put some skill-practice in though...

Well i just got back from Japan n bought loads of games GGXX2 Reload, Winning Eleven 7, Initial D Special Stage, Vagrant Story, Parasite Eve 2, Boktai, struggled to know which one to play.

              Soul Calibur 2 + Tekken 4

Been playin these both wiv my brother, n sum of my mates, great fun to play both of them but since i came back from Japan none of my mates can really test me on Soul Calibur 2 with Ivy.

              WE7

Everyones been playin this as explained in other posts, two player matches can't be beaten, all i'm tryin to do on this is get that 10000 point transfer option, which is really annoying cus all i want to do is play wiv Chelsea current side.

                KOTOR.

I've never enjoyed RPG's but this is on a completely different level. The storyline that runs through the game taking leads from the films, naturally, just enhances the whole experience. Experience, now that just sums up the game to me.

                Superb.

Off to Orlando for 2 weeks tomorrow, major withdrawl symptoms I feel.

Continuing SB:Zero One, where I now have a Supra. Fully modded up, yellow paint jobbie with green Viper-esque stripe down it - might post pics later, although the paint work is still work in progress (needs "sponser" stickers ). I'm playing a few SMS games too...

Impossible Mission; man, I love this game! Never completed it, but I did solve the key-code puzzle bit, just ran out of time before I got to that door. That was on the Speccy though, the SMS version is just as good. Also played Castle of Illusion recently, and I'm gonna start on Wonderboy III again as soon as it arrives. Plus, in my opinion, the SMS has the best home version of Outrun, which I've been playing on and off for around a month

Mario Golf TT. It has that just another go factor, the colours are soo vibrant on this game. Essentially it is Mario Golf 64 with bell and whistles, but I just luuurrvve it.

Star Soldier. Old school blasting. Simple graphics, excellent music (like the 80's guitar) which has again got that "another go" factor, 'specially in 2 minute mode.

P.N.03. Just started playing last night (having owned since PAL release but not played due to the previous games).

Metroid Prime - Hard mode, Fusion suit, hint system off. I know Tallon VI like the back of my hand.

F-Zero GX - Trying to beat PH's ghosts. The bast.

Advance Wars 2 - This **** is tough, I'm cack at chess though. Certainly a lot harder than AW1 which I finished in two sittings. You can't beat playing this in bed along with a hot mug of chocolate and some digestives.

I wish I had me Neo. Right now I'd be playing Real Bout and KoF'97.

And the award for being ridiculously different goes to...

                          Anyway Robotech: Battlecry

Simply one of the biggest suprises of the year. The controls are wonderfully fluid and simple, tons of missions, a decent challenge, and it has transforming robots. I haven't played a 3rd person shooter game this good in ages. Also posseses the best end sequence of recent times.

The game Gunmetal should have been. And a must for all the Starscream fans in the audience.

                          Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons...

Designer Boss: "Right, we need to improve the Tiger tank. Any ideas?"
                          Designer 1: "Longer range"

DB: "No, that's no good. It's supposed to be secret weapons."
Very Stoned Designer: "Add one of the guns from a battleship to it."
                          All: SOLD!

Very, very stupid. Also tremendous fun. Beeping the horn on the bike as you run someone over is a very satisfying experience.

Some fool sold me a DC, 3 Games including Soul Calibur, Two controllers and a Memory card for ?20!

So, I've got a second DC which I'll be practicing any possible soldering with!

But, I've finally got a copy of Soul Calibur which I must admit I actually enjoy quite a lot. Normally I just button bash and shout and am generally ****. But I've put about 6 hours into the game so far, and I start to think that it is paying off. It's quite enjoyable, but when I start to get low on health I lose my nerve and just bash away on the pad :S

Ah well... In time, in time... Next Purchase - PS2 and VF4:EVO! /me thinks

Started playing KOTOR and I am really enjoying it. But i loved the Baulders Gate games. I had been playing ghost recon again but now that KOTOR is here i kinda diched it.

Recently got a G-Con 2, Time Crisis 2 and Resi evil dead aim. Time crisis reminds me of my days in the student union and is great fun. Good arcade fun pick up and play try to beat the high score, etc
Resi evil is interesting. I think the game plays really well through the gun. Stumbling around trying to pick of zombies with head shots really does give a good sense of panic. Especially those fast zombies that really sway. I hated gamecube remake of resident evil so I am surprised I am enjoying this so much.

GBA has still got warioware in it just because it is soo pick up and play. I usually grab a game while the gf is watching some crap on TV or the cricket!

Cube wise the odd game of Ikaruga and every so often some Zelda. Zelda is one fine game. The style of the characters and the animation and artwork really suits the story and the music. It all fits together perfectly.
