UK credit card on US Playstation Store

Can this be done?

I only ask because I thought the only way of doing it was do buy PS points cards and redeeming the codes, but a friend told me he bought a load of US PS1 games from the store using his UK credit card...

Can I use mine to do the same without any problems? Does it depend on the type of card possibly? Ive never purchased one thing from the PS store in the UK or US so I am unsure...

I'd like to get a bunch of PS1 classics from the US store as soon as possible, but dont want to make a mistake somewhere down the line and end up out of pocket, and fine I cant redeem points or anything like that.

Any help would be appreciated.

It used to be possible with certain types of cards but I think they closed that loophole a while back. Any cards currently on an account would continue to work but adding new ones is no longer possible I believe.

With a Wii isn't it possible to create a Brazilian account and use a UK credit card, because their credit card system is different/doesn't require an address?

I only ask because maybe a Brazil PSN account will give access to US games, while accepting a UK card. I can't be arsed to fake an account if it doesn't work though.

Anyone else tried?

Old topic I know but the Brazil idea is a good one until you find out Brazil doesn't have a PSN Store, fail.
