It appears Zavvi have now received their allocation of the Limited Edition. Anyone who has it on pre-order from them should have had a confirmation email that it has been shipped.

Valkenhayn has been officially announced as a DLC character for the X360 and will hit Japanese virtual stores on December 7 and until January 10 he'll cost 320 MS Points; afterward, he'll cost 560 MSPs like Makoto.

Given that they had an email marketing campaign advertising it at exactly that price, I'd be mighty mad if they didn't! I am looking forwards to getting into this. Can someone re-cap what DLC I need to buy to bring this up to date though? I am confused and the Wiki page is making me moreso :/

There's no real point even buying the DLC. The regular characters are the ones worth using.

Makoto Nanaya and Valkenhayn R. Hellsing are two extra characters available now (-ish, Valks on the X360 will come out next week); there will surely be a third character (Platinum the Trinity) and probably a fourth character (Relius, Carl's father).

Other DLCs are unlimited characters (extra character already include unlimited versions), extra colors and different speakers. IIRC Mu is also available as a DLC for whoever unwilling to read through the story mode.

Platinum the Trinity will reach home consoles next spring.
Probably the new arcade release with all DLC characters will launch in the same period, along with the home balance patch, but this pure speculation.

Goddam it Zavvi! Where the hell is my game? Got an email on Tue 30th saying it had been despatched and to date I have not received it.

Dread to think what condition it will arrive in given Zavvi's penchant for minimal packaging.

Mine turned up on Wednesday in the usual jiffy bag. Nicely bashed and a small tear in one corner of the box. I got lucky with Calamity Trigger from Zavvi, which remarkably turned up unscathed despite their usual piss poor standard of packaging. Is it beyond the wit of these tossers to package items like this properly?

Is that from Zavvi? Don't remember seeing anything about a Makoto code when I ordered it (that was a very long time ago mind).

I got my LE copy from Zavvi a few days ago and no problems with the pack. There is no code for Makoto nor has there been any email. I didn't actually know that was part of the LE, don't remember it being in the description.

Last time Zavvi were to email a code about something bonus (IE: Dead Rising 2) The code arrived 3 weeks after release via email.
