    Saving in Fallout 3

I've not played this for ages and have just downloaded a save off the internet so I can review the new broken steel pack on PS3. Anyway, I can't seem to bloody save. I've just started the broken steel expansion, travelled to my house and it's still greyed out. Any ideas?

sorry for the extremely late reply on this but its because you downloaded a save that wasnt originally tied to your ps3.

The save you have probably downloaded will be a save from a system without the Fallout 3 update.
Once Fallout 3 has been updated, only saves currently on the system will be usable. Any added after the update will be greyed out.
If your set on using one of these, add the DL'd save to the fallout 3 save file dir, and then you delete the install files (game data NOT save data) of fallout 3. Then start the game again and it will reinstall the game data and the DL'd save will be available when you next play. I know because i did it when my game ended after the last of the main quest and i couldn't carry on as i had no other saves.

If you update it then, it should be fine. Like i said, I know this defo works if you play it offline without installing the update, but as its broken steel i would imagine the latest patch is already incorporated so it may be that it won't work.

Try it and see what happens.
