Limited Edition Mario Controller

Could anyone tell me if the club Nintendo Mario controller for gamecube was released outside Japan?

As the one I have has different packaging to the Jap release

Mine has Mario holding a star on box lid and framed mario poses on side of box with stars on the base

I had one and sold it a couple of year ago.

I think it was only available in the UK through the website as a stars for item promotion. The number of units made availabvle was very limited if I recall correctly.

It sounds the same as mine which was the European only one.

Any Idea what these things are worth

I've wondered the same myself as I have one I tried to sell on here. The Jap ones go for at least ?40 if in good condition, so I would estimate that the Euro ones would have to be worth more as they are more scarce.

Anymore than that I don't know.
