I remember ringing through to the Edge office and complaining about their TS2 review. I hadn't thought it covered the single player game to any degree that I could base a purchase on. The chap on the other end gave their reasoning and backed up the review. I bought it, played it and then understood what they had been saying. Nowadays I try to read more into each review. If it isn't written down then it probably isn't there.
However that's the review. Selected words chosen and arranged to give thought, opinion and feeling to a game. A score is just a number.
