I picked up the pc version, couldn't say no to a free copy of RF Guerrila. When i start the game up, it keeps telling me my nvidia driver is out of date and is known to be unstable, tells me to download the latest driver. The thing is, i already have the latest driver! Anyone else get this? >_<

Been looking forward to this for ages, bought it today and can't wait to give it a go later.

Have been reading up a bit more on this in my lunch hour and I've been reading some very worrying things about the AI. Managed to find a video showing the problems too., this was recorded from a single playthrough of the 360 version.

Are people finding it to be that bad or have improvements been made since the review code? I can put up with the odd issue with AI but that video makes it looks terrible.

Strangely, I'm still looking forward to playing it anyway!!

THQ twitter reports they will be revealing DLC this week for Metro 2033, devs said they wouldn't add multiplayer via DLC so this could be new story based or just some weapon DLC, maybe both.

If anyone still cares, DLC details of The Ranger Pack, price/date TBA.

The 'Ranger Pack' will add new weapons, new achievements and the hardcore 'Ranger Mode' which dramatically reduces ammo and makes all weapons cause more damage. 'Ranger Hardcore' mode the HUD is totally removed, adding an extra level of difficulty to the game but creating a more immersive experience. There are two new weapons up for grabs as well; the Heavy Automatic Shotgun and the Volt Driver, Miller's signature gun. Players can also look forward to new achievements and 250 Gamerscore points. The Ranger Pack will be released on both Xbox LIVE Marketplace and Steam in the very near future, with pricing to be confirmed closer to release.

Didn't really get on with the game myself but for the people who did the new Ranger Pack is being released today for both formats. Doesn't seem to be much in the pack but if you're a fan of the game I suppose it's worth a look.
The update will allow players to traverse the game in Ranger Mode, which "dramatically" reduces the amount of ammo you'll stumble upon but increases the damage dealt by players and enemies alike. It also adds a "Ranger Hardcore" mode, which does the same thing, but completely does away with the player's HUD, meaning you'll be able to see all those things that are killing you with unparalleled clarity.

The pack, which also adds new weapons and Achievements to the game, will arrive as a free update for Steam users -- though Xbox 360 players will have to purchase it from the Marketplace for 240 Microsoft Points ($3).
