Console bundles

I need to get the kids Wii sports resort and another remote,but looking around it seems I'll be better off buying a new console with the games bundled in.The cost of a new remote ?30,a nunchuk ?15 and sports resort ?40.It seems a bit crazy as I can get all the above plus a new black console and game(worth ?25 trade in)for another ?95,so with the trade in value of the game the console comes in at around ?70 + I get a few quid in points.

Having not owned a Wii myself, maybe you can clear this up.

You are saying in the bundle you get 2 controllers? 1 that comes with every console (is this the case) and 1 additional one.

If thats not the case and you only get 1 with the console then you may have a hard time trading in a console minus controller.

You only get one of each controller in the bundle. I fail to see the logic here personally. Why spend another £95 if you don't need to?

I believe you only get one controller, so doubt you will get the full trade-in value on the spare console. Good idea though, in theory!

I think it's partially to allow him to upgrade to a black console. CEX would happily take a controllerless wii off your hands, however they'd probably give you about £100 trade in, then knock £50 off for not having the controller as you'd have to "buy" one to go with it.

I was just going to trade in the game and keep the other console for the kids.It works out about ?70 on top as i have to get another controller and Wii sports resort for them any way.This week I traded a 3 year old vga 360 for ?80 and then got a Jasper Elite with 3 games ?199.Traded the games in and got ?96 trade,which I think I will put towards a new Wii.If only I knew about the Sainsbury's deal a day eailer I would have got cash and used it there.As a single parent I don't have money to throw around so I'm not just buying a console for the sake of it,just the deals you get in bundles make the cost of accessories madness.
