The Last Window, new adventure from Cing

I use the term "adventure" loosely as Cing's new game, The Last Window: Midnight Promise is a direct sequel of Hotel Dusk.
The game is scheduled for January 2010 in Japan and in this interview the developers said they are considering to make Kyle (Hotel Dusk) and Ashley (Another Code/Trace Memory) meet.
I really hope that Nintendo USA won't skip this title like they did with the Wii chapter of Another Code.

Thanks to Siliconera for the heads up.

    'King'? 'Sing'? 'Ching'? 'See-ing'?

I kept meaning to check out Hotel Dusk but never got around to it. The backtracking and triggering of plot advancing cut scenes put me off.

I really liked Hotel Dusk despite it having problems. Hopefully this will be really good.

            Few screenshots surfaced:

Hotel Dusk's sequel, Last Window: Midnight Promise is real and here's a whole bunch of screens to prove it. A while ago, a listing and box art for the Nintendo DS game were spotted on Japanese retail sites.

Quite excited about this. My DS has been surprisingly unused recently.

The name "Last Window" has been trademarked by Nintendo in Europe, meaning that we could see this very soon (Spring?).

                  More details here.

although i did enjoy the first (until the last 1/4 or something) you can still see repeated animations in this sequel, from the original hotel dusk.

Excellent news. Hotel Dusk still reigns as one of my favourite DS games.

                        Is this a problem?

Well, considering there weren't that many animations in the first and they are re-using them. *shrug*

Awesome news!! Whilst Again did fall a little short of expectations, this has looked interesting since day 1 and it's great to hear it's been picked up. Hope it does well.
