Rumble in the Jungle ( GOTY Title )

Well the 2 heavyweights for the title have been released, Uncharted 2 V MW2, well IMO Uncharted 2 ****** all over MW2, the graphics on MW2 are very blocky, the lag and host advantage in the multiplayer is well out of order already in MW2. MW2 is a great game it's just no GOTY, as flava flav says
Dont believe the hype.
p.s still expect MW2 to win GOTY as everybody seems to turn into a COD fanboy when its released. ( including writers)

Yeah this is normally done in January IIRC. Theres still some games to come out yet includnig Assassins creed 2, Left 4 Dead 2, etc.

Name the other GOTY games then? now or future, i'll check back in 2 months or even 6, just to prove 1 of these to will win GOTY, i'd even put money on it.
p.s played the L4D2 demo, Uncharted 2 ****** on that as well , and i dont think AC2 will be GOTY, prove me wrong Ubi.

Considering a games importance, quality and impact takes time, likewise I could not class a game I just played as one of my favourite games I ever played for the same reason. You need to let it sink in and play others that follow in it's wake.

Batman Arkham Asylum, Forza 3, Trials HD, Noby Noby Boy, Shadow Complex, Battlefield 1943, Modern Warfare 2, Race Pro, Operation Flashpoint 2 and Grand Theft Auto Episodes from Libert City are just some of my favourite games I've played this year.

However not only do we have more on the way like Ouenben mentions but I've yet to play Uncharted 2, A Boy and His Blob, Borderlands, Personna 4, The Beatles and many more I plan to play intill the year is out like many others on here!

Although Uncharted 2 and Modern Warfare 2 are the big contenders for the GOTY, there's so many other choices and mixed with your inflamatory tone, it rubbed me just a bit!

Personally I don't think CoDMW2 deserves GOTY this year, it just does too little new and campaign itself is inferior to CoD4's.

If this had been 2007 and Uncharted 2 and CoD4:MW were going up for the GOTY title I'd say CoD4 wins by a long shot.

My personal game of the year is shadow complex. Absolutely love every bit about it, completely flawless in my opinion.

Quality thread! Drunk dude starts what apparently is a GOTY thread, but in fact it's just him being abusive about people liking MW2 while nursing his own hard-on for Uncharted 2 (you seem a bit attached to the game dude- remember, it's just a game).

lol, i thought that too............ Ive only jus started playing Uncharted 2, a huOWge fan of teh original, it was a no brainer that i was going to be enjoyiong it as i am right now....... If i hadn't played teh original Fallout 3 before Fallout 3 GOTY came out then id definately put that up for a nomination
