Yeah, you can delete your PS Vita saves... by connecting it to a pc. Thats handy.

Or a PS3, which it is actually designed to connect to. Such hardship.

Say that to little Timmy who just got a PS Vita for his birthday. "Hey, want to delete your saves? All you need to do is buy a PS3 or a PC." Needing a separate device to properly manage your saves is a-ok to you? You may try as hard as you'd like, but this kind of oversight really is inexcusable.

A Vita for a birthday pressie, nice!

All he needs to do is ask his dad to stop downloading porn for 10 mins and delete em from the PC. But yeah, it is rather stupid.

              No point arguing with him.

It's a pretty majoy oversight for a handheld that you are required to connect it to a PC/PS3 to manage certain aspects, no doubt it will be fixed at a later date though.

The other big one is the download system which works the same as the PS3.
Lets say you purchase Uncharted from PSN which is 2.7gig ish, you will require over 5.4gig of free space before you can play it.

Not much of an issue on the PS3 if you have a 120gb+ hdd but yeah it's ridiculous on a system where the maximum amount of storage available at present is 32gb and even then you have to import a memory stick that size.

So it's like an iPod classic, where you need to connect it to a pc / mac to alter your playlist. I dunno, maybe it was strategic? Nah, youre right, old school thinking

The more I use the Vita, the more I think Sony didn't really learn all that much. Installing etc still feels kind of slow. Demos still need to be installed after download. You'll need the double file size indeed, there is the clunky save removal system thats new to me in fact. I think that if you delete the bubble, not only the saves disappear?

And the LiveArea and PSN store feel slow as well. Vita needs to open separate apps to read a message or browse a web page. Feels cumbersome. It can't really multitask. Is the OS still eating a ****load of memory like it does on Ps3?

Hey guys, I have games on my 4 GB PsVita Memory Card. If I buy a 32 GB one, can I transfer the games I bought previously on the 4 GB one?

Easiest way is to use a ps3 to do a back up then transfer to the new card

Thanks for the answer. I don't have a PS3 though.

Also what's the point of "discovering" games in Near?

Should work in a PC too

                            No real clue to Near

I have a 16Gb card and this fast filled up as the games here in Norway are up to ?50 for the card, and ?28 online, so I am choosing DLC; but now I get "Cannot download" error messages due to lack of space. Is it possible to swap cards and just buy a few 32GB's?

Has anyone had any experience of one of these?
