Now we are talking Sony. Very good thing.
As I don't buy as many games I used to do, I prefer to buy them and sell them once finished. This is the perfect offer for me. It's what I was waiting for. The first selection of games is exactly what I wanted also.

Cloud saving, more PS1 screen options, use web browser without closing game, use PC content manager over wifi and more.

Although it's not quite the same as being able to run games as full screen NTSC teher are options now for a ps1 custom screen mode which allows you to stretch the screen using multitouch. If there's no borders on the game there's an option to Keep Proportions while you're doing this so you're just zooming in and out.

you still don't get the advantages of NTSC speed but its a really good addition.

I'd removed things like final Fantasyy because of the borders but I'll have to give them another go now. Could be wrong but I think the filtering hasbeen improved, more subtle now so may be worth using on some games.

Also an update to the playstation mobile runtime package which you update manually in system settings. v1.0 now, not sure what differences are though

Does the new patch fix the broken scaling for PS1 games? The 'normal' scaling setting which is supposed to maintain correct aspect ratio actually still ran games at the wrong aspect ratio. Though I suppose the above addition would probably work as a quick-and-dirty solution to this.

You'll need to update the content manager assistant to do the wifi syncing, not too sure whether the program auto updates on pc but for the mac owners amongst us the updated version can be found here...

Just to answer my own question, the 'normal' scaling setting is still wrong, but the new custom setting can be used to get around this.
