    Is it xmas yet?
I didn't like the pad on my fat so did that mod thingy, the Light was different altogether - love it.

Im really liking the Concave dpad design. It looks like it will offer good grip and perfect for a handheld. As for the hardware in general i think its the best Sony product since the original Playstation.

I've posted this in the firmware thread also but it does relate to this.

A few sites are running with stories that Sony has now informed developers that cloud saving is going to be made available to PS3 users via the soon to be released v3.60 firmware.

SteamCloud will be available on the PS3 in April via Portal 2 so I presume the firmware update will happen before then.

My lack of attention with handheld (erm, more like PSP) titles is usually down to the games being **** in the first place.

Perhaps you need to play better games where the incentive is to actually enjoy and conquer a challenge resulting in an overall rewarding experience, rather than rack up some meaningless 'score'? The amount of people forcing themselves through pain, ****, and piss just for a gamerscore is quite worrying.

I'm tempted to make my own Flash game called "Shoot the **** for Gamerscore!!" and release it on XBL. Basically 20 turds fly across the screen and you have to shoot them for 10gs each... The only thing is they can fly out once anywhere between 1min and 2hr intervals, and you have no pause.

            Do it.

            Someone would buy it.

Didn't you say earlier in the thread that you've only played 2 games for it since launch?

That would be true though were it not for my low attention span in the past with handhelds meaning I only used to pick up the key releases. In the end trophies and gs points have had no negative impact. There's always been people buying poor games

SCEA's direct feed videos of the presentation in English, it's also available at 1080p on YouTube.

I imagine most people have seen the game videos now but it's worth watching them like this as they're far clearer.

That's pretty much every Japanese studio working on it. No EA presence raises an eyebrow though.

The PSP(1) is currently trouncing every other console in Japan in terms of HW and software sales so it probably makes sense that they all got their dev kit orders in early.

Are the new jap sales figures out? The last ones I saw had the NDS selling more, it just looked lower due to being split over 3 SKU's

EDIT: Just seen the new ones and PSP did win

I would suggest you play more PSP games before making a statement like that.
