That's all very good, but if you import one how easy will it be to access servers and access DLC etc? I for one am hoping that Sony will do the right thing and make it region free. If that's the case I'm def importing for that price! Is that with 3G? What are the launch games looking like btw for PAL/NTSC-U regions? Any good?

I suggest you read up on the Vita. There is a wealth of information on this very forum. I'd imagine it'll be exactly the same as any other PlayStation certified device in terms of account functionality. It has been confirmed by SCEI as region-free. ?170 is the RRP in New York, you will deffo not be importing one for that kind of money.Last edited by J0e Musashi; 21-11-2011, 13:18.Kept you waiting, huh?

If it's like PSP then in guessing when you switch it on for the first time you'll be able to set it to English too. I wonder if the games will be multi-lingual like some PS3 games? Thatd be even better!
Eurogamer reported today that Vodafone is the prefered 3G partner in many Euro territories including UK which also grabs you a DL voucher for WipEout 2048 (on my phone so can't link to story). I wonder if the 100 hour JPN 3G voucher will work over here and then switch to a UK provider?
I just hope that I can log on with my UK PSN to keep everything simple and on 1 account.

Add on the retailers profit, plus the shipping costs. ?170 is if you are in New York yourself, and go into a shop and buy it yourself, and bring it back on the plane yourself, and go through Nothign to Declare yourself. As I said you will deffo not be importing one for ?170.Kept you waiting, huh?

What's the launch line up for this then? And how much are the memory cards likely to cost? I still think the memory card thing is pretty scummy, especially a Sony published game like Uncharted (the game I'm most interested in) not having built in saving, but I think I might get one at launch if the memory cards aren't a total piss take and the launch line up's good enough. It's funny how Sony have gone backwards since the PS3, and PSP Go to some extent.

yeah agree that the import prices for memory cards are pretty hefty. It's a shame they don't use microSD...
As for launch Sony confirmed the following 1st party titles for Launch, 3rd parties haven't confirmed yet...
Uncharted: Golden Abyss
WipEout 2048
Reality Fighters
Little Deviants
ModNation Racers: Road Trip
Everybody’s Golf
Escape Plan
Top Darts
Hustle Kings
Unit 13
MotorStorm RC
