This is what i and probably the rest of japan wanted to hear, a Monster Hunter game will launch for Vita soon, so say French boss Philippe Cardon.

Yes that one lol. Been trying to search for solid proof but it looks like it might just be one game not the series thats currently exclusive to 3ds, wonder if the vita will be a spinoff version or the next one in the series?

I didn't think Gravity Daze was a launch title? I'd heard it was Feb for the JPN release but May for the US?

I went into my local Game at lunch time and was surprised to find they had a Vita demo unit. This is the first time I've actually seen the hardware in-person and I'm very impressed. The screen is incredible and although the analog sticks are tiny and felt weird initially, they're actually rather good.

The game I've been wanting to play all this time is Little Deviants which they had on the demo unit thankfully. The rear touch pad works really well and the game seems like good fun initially. Wasn't overly impressed with the Motorstorm RC demo. It's like RC-Pro AM on the NES, but with better graphics and not as good. I also had a quick race on Mod Nation which is quite cool.

Overall, I'm really impressed with the hardware. It's all down to the software now...

I'd expect the other way around, MH is huge on psp and if its more of the same it $$$ for capcom, its a licence to print money, MH Vita would sell way more than MH Tri G, and the numbers speak for themselves , MHP 3rd 4 million sales, MH Tri G 1 million sales, capcom would we crazy not to get another MH on a playstation system.

I have a 32gig ipad2 chocca block with top top titles and some of the best mobile games that floor what xbox and PSN can offer,so im just wanting to know if theres room for a Vita as well as an Ipad2 which is used for gaming when im made to watch that crap on tv most wives watch or the kids are hugging the big tv,although im interested to hear that Game stores have demo vitas so i will go and look for myself.

I think you'd be best off sticking with your iPad 2 personally.

The issue for me will be how well the vita handles web browsing. If its the same as the PS3 browser (ie just about functional) then I can't see me being interested. If they find a way of enabling an unrestricted proper browser then I'll defo be interested.

Your dead right i do FSW and Ipad realy has some corkers and plenty of variety and originality too,but you know what its like when a new console is on the horizon and i am a real sucker for uncharted and everybodys golf games so i will go see for myself and if its as good as others have siad might just buy myself an early birthday present..
