Got ffvii and viii running (us versions). Looks quite nice. I prefer the filtering on and normal video mode.

I really should have stuck my US store account on my Vita. Having the UK store use the PAL version of classics like final fantasy 7 is such a ****ing waste!

Edit: I do like being able to use the D-pad and buttons on the home menu now though. Not sure how to simulate holding my finger down on an icon though to delete or move it.

One very small gripe - 'normal' very mode seems to very slightly distort the aspect ratio. Very slightly, but enough for me to stick with 'original' video mode.

Am I missing something? Psone not yet activated for Eu region?

In case people didn't realise, you can actually transfer your PS1 memory cards from the PS3 to the Vita, and vice versa.

Tomorrow. Although why it wasn't just rolled out today with the update I don't know.

You can transfer games from the PS3 across to the Vita today though.

Reports coming though of huge borders, slower game speeds etc associated with days gone by with ps1 versions from the UK store.

Even after 15 years, they couldnt give you the games in their original presentation for today's market. How tough would it have been linking the Ps1 catalogue to a central store with the us/Japan releases....

Greedy cnuts more interested in profit and a quick fix, than pleasing a fan base....

UK store = PAL games why expect anything more?
Just grab yourself a US or JPN account and start download 60hz games....oh wait.

the ps1 games have been there for ages, its not like this is a surprise.

Yep, they are pretty much exactly how they were on PSP, which is pretty much exactly as they were back in the day. A few (some of the RE games for example) are the US versions for some reason though. I think it's always going to hurt that I can't easily play the games I bought on the US store...

Only loaded up FFVI and the colours do look lovely on the screen. Where are the display and control options for the PS1 games on Vita? I can't find them.

Pal gamers are cursed. We're doomed.

Lol, such whinging on Twitter - WHY can't they just release the same version in all territories!? How hard can it be!? etc. lol.

Just get a US account, make your Vita a US Vita and be done with it. Or JPN if your preferred games aren't language dependent. It's not difficult. Or am I simplifying things too much? We all knew this is how things would be; why are people surprised?
