Suda 51's No More Heroes (PS3/360)

Announced in Famitsu port of original coming to Xbox 360 and PS3, Feb 25th 2010.
I will SO double dip with this fantastic game, yeah we may loose wii controls (maybe not on ps3 with sixaxis) but hopefully we will gain less jaggies and more of a chance to see this beauty at full potential on a HD tv, hopefully more people will buy it also as it so deserves to be played.

Wii controls were nothing special anyway, just a waggle when the guys had been hit enough and the occasional double waggle with wiimote/nunchuck.

NMH2 with motion plus however could be great controls wise

You mean could have been great, suda announced motion plus was out long ago for NMHDS and classic controller/classic controller pro was added.

Ooh, great news. When I sold my Wii and 30 odd games I was sad to see No More Heroes go as well as a few others but now I can get at least No More Heroes back Great!

on one hand I'm quite devastated to see the wii loose one of it's top 3rd party exclusives, but I'm also a bit excited to see the game again with top notch visuals. will wait and see what its like first though. cant imagine the game with out wii remote finishers

            This is awesome news.

I absolutely adored No More Heroes, so getting to re-experience this beauty in high-definition surely will be very nice indeedy. The wii-remote implementation was quite satisfying with a thrust here and there, but nothing overly intuitive (i hate using that word now... erm, let's use 'inspired' instead). The revelation that No More Heroes 2 will use the classic controller is a nod to that fact. Hopefully if it sells well we'll see a port of the sequel too!

Has a new mode called "very sweet mode" seems to involve all of the girls wearing swimsuits...

Please may I ask if what version we are going to get? Having played PAL and US (US first) on Wii..the blood really does add to the surreal nature of it. I know some of the cutscenes don't make sense...I just love the blood! It was the same in Killer7...it adds to the game no-end.

Great news - this was the reason I bought a J-Wii when I did, and although I'd agree with mek above re: exclusivity, I'd love the chance to play it again on a more powerful machine. Suda 51 love in

Hmmm, not sure about this one. The Wiimote mini games/jobs will certainly miss the novelty controls as will the fighting imo.

There was talk of Marvelous porting some of their Wii titles over so nice to see it's happening. Can't see me missing the Wii controls too much except for the remote speaker as a phone. Also wonder how far they got into development with the 360 version of this before it got moved over to the Wii.

I do love the pre fight phonecall through the wiimote speaker.

Hopefully the wiimote controls won't be missed much, scans from Famitsu are out there and doesnt look too bad at all wanna see some footage, official title is No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise.
