I have reset the machine to its factory settings. Is that it?

All the dlc games are still there and me as a user. Do I delete these individually?

Im sure there is a full format hard drive option in the system settings, that would get rid of everything.

Well I have sold it.

However my brother has just got the new slim. For some reason tho he can't use our home email. Surely my old machine is not linked to it still??

Your PSN account will still be active, it's not tied to your machine. Just login with the email/password combination you used before and you're good to go - you'll be able to download anything that you've already bought from the store as well.

He want to sign up with his username. I'm not interested in the machine to be honest so he is creating a new account but cant use our email.

Then you can login somewhere with the other username and associate it with a different email address, then create the new account on the email address you want.
