I can only do a rough audit of the "Big" items:

I have pruchased all sorts of odd stuff like a Wii "Super Famicom" controller, a game and watch thingy & the entire GBA generation games, but can't remember what I paid.

That is not a wise use of my money at all.

I'm hoping the new addition of my girlfriend will make a big dent into the total then. It's an awful amount which I thankfully managed to lower in the second half. After the demo's I've already ruled out stuff like DC Universe and LBP2 so January should be a cheap start... and depressingly yup, the manager of the local gamestation does recognise me now

hehe indeed girlfriends to dent the spends, a gamestation employee also used to recognise me when i was in my teens and could only afford to trade games in, he used to always chat to me and was pleasant though.

i've been keeping track of mine elsewhere, but there wont be anything else now.
its not too bad i think. imports relatively expensive these days, a few things i could have saved on, but i did wait for quite a few discounts/bargains/sales etc.

i assume next year will be more due to the 3DS, and possibility of PSP2

That is a mad total! I have spent around 600 and picked up over 100 titles this year. Ok most of mine as cheapies but even so!

Sure, whereas some peeps have done the maths or marked games that they've sold or traded I've kept mine as a raw list. For example, if I buy a new game I might trade in 2 games for it and get ?50 credit. That means I didn't spend any cash to buy the game. If I'd have got ?35 credit I'd record the expenditure on here as Game A - ?5.00 so my total is the amount I'm down in pure money. Most of my 2010 purchases were traded or sold once completed

I'm scared to total it all up, but in the last 4 months I reckon it would be safe to say I've spent £600-900 on GBA stuff alone. That's after going a good few months without buying anything.
