Its bound to be region locked unfortunatly, as Aksys were the ones who relased and region locked Blazblu in the US. This is actually really bad news for us in Europe as if these games get localised in the US the Japanese will be even more inclined to region lock their releases, makiing Mushi a one off, and as we know STG games never make it to Europe, we are still waiting on Raiden Fighter Aces, Raiden IV, Shikiagami No Shiro 3, Milestone Collection etc.

The obvious answer is to buy a Japanese 360 if you want to play these. I don't think i'll bother though, in fact because of all this i don't think i will ever buy a region locked console again and will stick to PCBs.

Actually, we got very lucky with PS2. Depends what publishers are thinking at the time. So far, not a sniff.

I don't know if this is news or not but I just noticed Zavvi have this up for pre-order . Redicilously cheap as well.

That is an amazing price for a fantastic game that I've been going back to this week (US version). Check out our review too. This is easy enough for beginners mostly (if you choose the easy options).

It's a damn good conversion, comes with the DLC and an additional sountrack that was released seperately in Japan. Pretty good for the price it's going for at some places.

Zavvi seem to think so they have it pimped on their front page.

Press releases have been sent out from what I've seen. RSG are really promoting Deathsmiles, which is fantastic as it's likely this game will do well in the first week. A strong start is what is needed if Cave would like to open up more possibilites for releases in the western market.

Deathsmiles Deluxe, the first UK release from Japanese arcade developer Cave, is a joy, writes Will Freeman

Nice to see it get the review it deserves in the mainstream media.
