The ending of the first one suggests coop which could be interesting.

just finished the first and really enjoyed it....the ending hinted at what the sequel might entail. online co-op could be great!!

I was listening to a podcast, of which I cannot remember the name but Anthony Gallegos who was very positive on the game said that he'd spoke to the developer who confirmed that Darksiders' original concept was co-op enabled for the other horsemen.

Darksiders: Four Swords. I hope it works.

Erm, please no more about the ending of the first game - no matter how vague it might seem to those that have played it, it's only been out a few weeks.

I'm kinda disappointed by the announcement. Having found DS1 to be solid but massively generic and dull I'd have hoped that an attempt at a sequel would build on the groundwork but an announcement this quick suggests a knocked out game

All it suggests is that the first game was successful, it doesn't automatically mean that no effort will be put into a sequel.

Had a quick scan and the impression is that it's sold more than Bayonetta then... so, so wrong

If I were to pick up the box of both in the shop with no prior knowledge of either I'd pick this over Bayonetta in a heartbeat. Of course I'd do the same even with prior knowledge of both, but that's just me.

I don't think I'd buy either going from the boxart alone...but then I don't think I've ever impulse bought a game from just seeing it in a shop. Maybe if I was a big metalhead I'd take a chance on Darksiders...

I like the sound of co-op with the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

I'm going more from the screens and the premise than the covers... but then the Darksiders cover wins that one for me as well.

I'll take my Bayonetta prejudice elsewhere now though, sorry for derailing the thread!

Some details announced. The story runs parrallel to the original game with the player controlling Death. It's due out next year across PC, PS3 and 360
