Oh bloody hell Heavy Rain........ Strange that its go so many good reviews and the odd couple of above average reviews.

Ouch for Ace Attouney.......

They've been pretty tough on all the Ace Attorney sequels I seem to remember.

Great score for Mass Effect, after the disappointing first game. I will probably pick it up at some point now.

Shame about Monkey Ball – sounded from previews that it might be a return to form.

Glad that Heavy Rain wasn't a complete disaster.

I think there are a lot of reasons for someone to not get on with Heavy Rain.

I haven't read the review but it's not a huge leap to see why they may not have thought it was stellar. I personally love it after the demo (just so I don't get flamed).

Oh, after their preview the Heavy Rain score doesn't come as much of a surprise. I'm pleased they did still like it, though (a 7 or up for anything from Edge is enough to get me curious at the very least). Nice to see Mass Effect 2 get some love, though if anything I'd have said they were being a little too generous. Call of Pripyat's about right too, from what I've played.

The interesting one is Bioshock 2. I really want to see how they break that down - same score as the first game, right? I'm still in two minds myself... sometimes I think it's a case of diminishing returns, sometimes I feel it's actually better than the original.
