Quick question, are the products on the E-shop going to be smeared in ****e-o-vision just like my DS games are on the 3DS? Not been following this too much, curious to know what the advantage to buying the game over again is when I can just stick Link's Awakening into my GBC and play it at the screen format it was intended to be played at.

The resolution of the 3DS is not far off from being four times the resolution of the GBC, so scaling (giving each original pixel four on the 3DS) should look a lot better than the DS games do. And everything that isn't old ports are presumably built for the resolution of the 3DS, so they should look awesome.

The only place I ever got any hits in Cheltenham was by walking past Game and Gamestation. I've been past both today and nothing so even that's dried up. I'm moving to Tokyo!

Which case is it? I picked up an officially-licenced Hori case and it's awesome. Even has a place for you to stash the AR cards. They have a black variant too, but this suits my Aqua Blue console better.

Even if the 3DS screen res is around 4x the GBC, isn't there still the possibility they might decide to filter it anyway instead of going for the nice, blocky resize like emulators often let you choose?

mine has too now...i got refunded ages ago too.
took so long the enclosed voucher expired on april 10th.

i got the black version but will be sticking with my old ds case as it seems too big...just rattles around in there.

In a turn around of sorts I've decided to trade my 3DS in. I own Zelda several times overand beyond that it looks to be around another 7-8 months till something worth ?40 is due out. In the meantime it's sitting there gathering dust. I really love the device but in the short term the value can be put to better use whilst by the time regular worthy releases are due I'll be able to pick up a decent bundle no trouble.

I picked up the official case for ?9.99 it's good and a tight fit. A bit of a wait for Dead Or Alive, MGS and Zelda etc.
