We will find out for sure on Wednesday but one thing i will say no way will it be a 2010 release for Europe and after Reggies comments on US tv and the "leak" from the retailers saying April 2011 for the US i would imaging it is the same for them.

German Paper Bild is saying Nov.11th for Japan, Q1 for EU, €200

Mario Kart, Zelda OoT, Layton as launch titles.

Date and Price sound right (£169?). As much as those are all probably decent titles, it's not quite as thrilling as it should be for me. Mario Kart and OOT didn't look far along at all at E3

It'd be like the N64 launch all over again (playing Japanese games way before the console is out here). I'm seriously tempted, although I expect the import price to be sky high and the region lock may force me to just wait for a mate to buy one and try theirs...

Isnt Bild like Germany's version of The Sun?.... They just make a lot of stuff up and try and pass it as news. Japanese launch on a Thursday does this seam right? Thought they always launched consoles on Saturdays?

Layton and Mario Kart i could see being launch games as for OoT as pointed out above reports suggest it was very early stages at E3.

I am liking that price i was expecting ?200 easy.

3DS is the one system I'm gonna wait until I've seen in person before buying. When I saw Avatar at the cinema a lot of the 3D stuff was blurry. I don't know why this was, but I want to make sure 3DS is as amazing as everyone says it is before parting with my cash. You could argue you could just put the slider to zero, but that's a bit of a waste of a 3D handheld, isn't it?

This handheld is going to have Ocarina of Time. That's all I need to know. If they manage to do ANYTHING impressive with the 3D, that will just be gravy.

Resisting a spangly new version of Ocarina of Time is undoubtedly going to be the hardest thing. It's my favourite game ever by a million miles. I tend to resent buying a new console just for one game, but if anything is going to push me over the edge that would be it. Gah. Why do you tempt me so, Nintendo?

If 3DS is March, I wonder if that means Skyward Sword will actually be late 2011. I can't see Nintendo wanting to release two proper Zeldas close to each other like that, even on different systems.

I don't know about that. Link to the Past on GBA was released pretty close to Wind Waker on Gamecube. Sounds pretty analogous to me.
