Super Monkey Ball 3DS had only one save file, with no option to delete and/or start afresh.

So once you have completed a part of the game, you can never play it again, short of buying a new copy or yarring?

Thanks for the info - I was unlikely to buy the game, now I certainly won't.

You can select the worlds from the menu, everything is still replayable.
It's not a great game though and too short, worth ?5 maybe

As Ouenben said, everything is replayable, but you can't start a new game and unlock the worlds as you go other than the first time you play through the game. There's no way of deleting the high scores, either.

I noticed that The Green Lantern tie in game has been released on 3DS and most places are selling it for ?19.99. Wonder if they got the hint that prices are too high. I went in Granger at lunch to pick it up and bloke checked computer sounded shocked when he said it was sold out. First 3DS game to sell out. He checked 2 other nearest stores and they had sold out too.
Be interesting to see sales figures for that game broken out of the other formats

As much as I'd love to see that it sold out - it's made by one of Sumo Digital's sister companies - I imagine it was a small print run as well.

Ah I see. I ended up ordering it from Amazon. Reviews are not good but videos on YouTube look good. It's a full Wii port apparently so interested to see how 3DS handles it

Green Lantern arrived this morning. Had quick blast on it. Looks pretty good to me, deffo not warranting the harsh reviews. Nice level of freedom as GL can fly around the levels and the 3D looks great

Had a look at the gameplay video and it seems ok, probably suffers a bit from being a movie tie in which usually makes reviewers harder to please.

From what I understand, the Thor 3DS looks set to be suprisingly decent, trying to do something more than most movie licences, is that a different studio?

Not sure about the studios but Thor and Captain America are from Sega while Green Lantern is from Warner Bros Games.

Hoping Sega follow WB and release those two at ?20 mark. I wouldnt have bought GL at ?30 but at ?20 it was impulse for a nice little action platformer.

Resi Mercs also arrived. Had quick blast on that and it's looking very good. Look forward to some online co op after work

Damn, I should know better by now, I bought Hori 3DS screen protector off Ebay, and yes it was a fake...doh. I emailed Hori and they confirmed. So, yeah, besically don't buy them off Ebay.

Is there additional settings for Nintendo DS playback on a 3DS? It looks slightly blurry to me.

If you hold start and select when booting the game, it will go into a 1:1 mode but the screens will be smaller. As far as I can tell, they are the only options.
