Cosplay is a very strange thing. You have to be a dedicated fan to do it, but then surely a dedicated fan would have high standards for the quality of the costume and representation? Why then is so few any good?

So many are utterly terrible, especially the ones at Play Expo last week. I do appreciate the work the goes into amazing costumes mind, however I would rather look at scantily clad women.

Cosplay is primarily about hot girls. Without it, the rest would be a bunch of weird geeks dressing up.

I'd have said it was primarily about very normal looking girls...who didn't get enough hugs off daddy and now want to make up for it by cynically extracting cash from socially awkward guys via poster sales.
With the amount of attention/cash they get being mathematically based on the size of their boobs...think it's called the "Nigri Formula"

Nigri, to be fair, is probably a good example of the... other extreme of the least desirable aspects of cosplay. So never feel bad for ranting

She's decent looking but there's a vibe with her that she loves self promotion more than she loves anything industry related. Good looking but not sexy.
