I do wish Edge would review the odd Cave shmup on the 360. I was expecting Espgaluda II to get some review coverage this issue after it made the incoming section a few months back.

Great score for Splinter Cell after the fairly average demo, maybe the full game lives up to the premise more.

After seeing my brother enjoy Metro 2033, the score seems a bit average but I do understand it does not really do anything new.

Maybe Alan Wake next month?

Metro 2033's something of a letdown. I could understand a 7, but I still loved it enough for two playthroughs. Shame if they've run with the same idiocy too many other reviews have fallen for re: the shooting (too hard, enemies too close to the ground, short on ammo etc., etc.). It's flawed, but not that flawed - the terrible AI isn't reason enough to mark it down that low IMO - and probably the most stunningly atmospheric game I've played since Demon's Souls.
