I'm not a fan based on the very little I've played on MvC (Gief CvSNK3!), but I have to admit if this looks as crazy as the original games and runs natively at 1080p I'm going to get it purely for the eye melting graphics!

No, every character is a new 3D model except her. She still uses the old sprite.
