The MT Framework engine looks superb in this form. Can't wait

The stages and effects look amazing but the characters are mixed bag. Don't like the way they've done the Hulk, Ironman or Deadpool but some of the others look good especially Dante. It's a long way off so I expect it'll improve.

Gameplay looks exactly like MvC2. Which is a bad thing to me as I hate that game. Don't really like the gritty style either. I much prefer the looks of KOF and BB.

Not exactly a huge fan of MvC2 either if I'm honest (FAR too much melee-style...much prefer MvC1 - wish Capcom would give it a XBLA/PSN release to round off the trilogy), but it sounds very much like it will control and play like Tatsunoko vs Capcom (arguably the best vs Capcom Crossover title ever, imo), so that might make it worth purchasing.

They have moved to distance the gameplay from TvC and allegedly the gameplay changed a fair bit between E3 and EVO (to be less like TvC).

I think it looks stunning in motion but it's also one of those games that doesn't look so good in stills.

Can we tack on character wishlists onto our posts yet or is it too late? I want Gene from God Hand so badly He's such a natural fit for this.

Can you imagine if Gene was in it, and his character theme for when you sub him in was the ending music to God Hand?!

Personally, I think that's a mistake on Capcom's part.

The best vs. Capcom crossover titles (MvC1, X-Men vs. SF, TvC) work because they have the right balance between measured/controlled fighting and melee action.

The worst titles in the series (MvC2, MSH vs. SF) don't work because they are too geared towards all-out melee fighting, imho.

Will MvC3's control scheme be like TvC (simple and accessible yet containing much depth)?

It's taken a good mixture of both imo. I'm no pro player but it looks like it'll be a lot of fun to me.
