I'd also go for Shadowrun & Chrono Trigger along with reboots or sequels of the following:-

      Speedball 2
      Uridium
      Turrican
      Dungeon Master
      Mega Lo Mania

        By God, yes!

As much as I tried to love both PS2 'Shinobi' and Nightshade, they simply were NOT Shinobi games, no spirit of the originals remained (bar the whole cyber-ninjery thing). Those games were all zig-a-zaggin' about at high speed almost blindly in a 3D world that didn't work, completely missing the ninja precision point of the series.

I'd like to see Treasure 'redux' Shinobi like they did Gradius, though that will never happen.

Even if some German did it well as an XBLA instalment, proper-well, it'd stem the flow of pain a bit.

Was never a massive fan of Shinobi even though i used to play it in the arcades while i was at college. I could have sworn they made a follow up to it though

I preferred Shadow Dancer on the MD, now that and The Last Ninja i would mind seeing follow ups to

I also wouldn't mind seeing a modern day take on Thief, (or any follow up tbf) but not sure if it could work, robbing banks and high rises etc.

Project Zero is the only one that really fits the bill, but that will probably forever be niche, unfortunately. Dead Space is great, but it's sci-fi leanings have given it an identity of it's own. With Silent Hill, Konami could really capitalise on what Capcom have neglected.

As for Ico... well there's The Last Guardian on the way. I'm not sure I'd want a 'direct' sequel.
Silent Hill had a reboot and it was very good (even if the sales weren't amazing).

The description of the video of the new Silent Hill being developed by a new startup seems to indicate it's going back to foggy monster filled SH. To be honest I'm not sure Konami see the series as anything but a cash cow now. Not sure they've any real love for it (they would've given the SH:SM devs a big budget to do a HD SH otherwise).

            Series I want a sequel/reboot for:

Wonderboy. Come on Sega, this is perfect for PSN/XBLA

Azure Dream. Zero chance but I can dream. Town building + date sim + roguelike + monster breeding.

Chrono Trigger 2 or a Radical Dreamers remake.

Zelda is coming but I'm hoping for a reboot or a major structural change. Twilight Princess was good but the OoT format is very stale now.

Pop'n'Twinbee. Screw bullet hell, I want a simple, colourful shooter where you can actually pay attention to the graphics and it isn't ultra unforgiving.

This. I'd love a new Dungeon Master. The original still, even now, holds up well. What an amazing game.

Good shout on Speedball 2 and Turrican too.

Chrono Trigger also. Loved Chrono Cross but the time travel element is so cool.
Tokyo Extreme Racer, a proper sequel would be nice but it looks unlikely.

Kaizou Chonin Shubibinman - Screw Megaman, Tasuke & Kyapiko would kick his puny ass.

Chromehounds - #1 reason Sega are twats. Should have kept the servers open.

Shutokou Battle - Free roaming online where you and your mates can play as gangs
                    would be awesome.

Chikyuu Boueigun - EDF with online co-op plz.

Bullet Witch - First one gets slated but its a decent enough game.

Spectral Force - Nice SRPG. The first one I've enjoyed since Tactics Ogre on the SFC.

Neutopia - Zelda clone but was also much better than Zelda.

                    Battle Gear - BATTORU GEEEEEEEE-YAAAAAAAAAAR

Football Kingdom - Underrated. Better than any FIFA.

Simple Series - Imagine the tat that could come out on this generation of consoles!

Tiger Road - Why does no one seem to remember this classic platformer?

City Hunter(PCE version was ace) - Like Rolling Thunder but better.

THIS!, would love an home port of Battle Gear 4, shame Taito seem more content on putting out mobile phone and handheld titles these days, other than Raystorm HD I can't recall them doing anything this gen for PS3/360, yet another Japanese developer thats gone downhill.

Wouldn't mind seeing Genki do another game in the Kaido Battle series either, Kaido Battle 3 was excellent, I still play that even now.

Also EA to do another game in the Strike series.

Amongst a good few of the ones already mentioned........

I wanna see Hammerfist on the C64/Amiga/Atari ST rebooted with a remix of the music in the game........ Then, I wanna see BareKnuckle done again......... If these somehow come true, I will add more on......... no point setting my sights too high

Crude Busters. There aren't enough side scrolling fighters these days for my liking.

Psi-Ops deserves, nay demands, a sequel.

Surprised no-one's mentioned Strider yet, I bloody adore the original, and I quite liked the PSone sequel- had a nice style I thought.

Not a patch on the first mind, but still.

                                Reboot please!
