And just like that I want a Guitar Hero game again GH 4 and 5 were so light on Metal it was an insult, I don't think I even finished 5 infact (which was a first for me in any GH/RB game) and I was probably going to skip the inevitable GH6 this autumn. I absolutely loved GH:Metallica however, give me a soundtrack something of that quality again and I'm there.

            I agree, this sounds good,

I like many types of rock music but Metal songs have always been the most fun to play in these games (I agree GH:Metallica was ace). The setlist in Guitar hero 5 was atrocious really so this sounds like a major improvment.

I don't care what it has - I'll automatically buy it.

Pretty boring set list apart from those two left field choices. I think What Do I Get is the Buzzcocks best single (although not so well known) and Stray Cat Blues is an underrated Stones masterpiece.

Only song I actively like on that list is Wish. Mega-disappointing.

Agreed. Saw The Buzzcocks a few years ago (went to the gig pretty blind apart from Ever Fallen' In Love) and What Do I Get was a real stand-out from an otherwise pretty crap gig. Even the solitary Muse track isn't enough to get me excited for this game. 90% of those artists should appear in a game called Also-rans of Rock.

A bit less metal than expected (f***ing Dire Straits), but the following are all of interest (although a lot I already have donwloaded in rockband):

Avenged Sevenfold ? ?Bat Country? (a good one for band play I would think)
The Cure ? ?Fascination Street? (unexpected but most welcome)
Drowning Pool ? ?Bodies? (hopefully better than the ropey version available on the rock band indie service)
The Hives ? ?Tick Tick Boom?
Jane?s Addiction ? ?Been Caught Stealing?
                            KISS ? ?Love Gun?
Linkin Park ? ?Bleed It Out? (Good vocals)
Metallica & Ozzy Osbourne ? ?Paranoid (Live)?
                            Nine Inch Nails ? ?Wish?
                            The Offspring ? ?Self Esteem?
Rammstein ? ?Waidmanns Heil? (Should be an absolute belter)
                            Slayer ? ?Chemical Warfare?
                            Slipknot ? ?Psychosocial?
Stone Temple Pilots ? ?Interstate Love Song?
ZZ Top ? ?Sharp Dressed Man (Live)?

Already i'm counting more I like than GH5, and you always enjoy some others once you start playing. I'm quite happy with that initial lot.

The new guitar peripheral will have removable sides so you can add "axe" sides or "flame" sides etc.

                              There's a video on Gizmodo.
