I like that, and always find them a bit more sturdy than R/band instruments having said that i think i have enough plastic guitars to not warrant buying it.

I'm still using the Guitar Hero II guitar! It's the wired Gibson Explorer one. Seems to be more reliable than all the wireless ones and I'm not missing out on much with the touch-sensitive bit.

How is the interest level on here then?

Day 1 for me, the setlist only has a small handful of songs I don't like. A friend of mine has recently gotten into the GH games so I've been playing alot of it over the past few weeks. This really can't come soon enough as I only like about 5 songs on GH5 and the ones that I liked in GH4 didn't import

Haven't preordered yet as I can't decide whether to get it with the new guitar or not? On the one hand the guitar this year looks pretty sweet, but on the other hand I do already have about 6-7 GH/RB guitars sitting in the corner of my room so do I REALLY need another?

Edit - looks like they want about £80 for the guitar bundle this year, fook that!

I've about zero interest in this. I'm too heavily invested in the Rock Band Platform. If this had a bunch of songs I wanted I may be tempted when it hits ?20, but truth be told there isn't. And as I'd only buy RB songs, there's nothing here for me.

May have been interested in the guitar at the GH kit is superior to RB, but with the new real guitar, I'd rather put the money towards that. Not that I'm likely to get it anytime soon, but you know what I mean.

I think it's interesting that GH has gone back to focus on rock, with a distinct Seventies and Eighties focus. It's not for me at all (there are only about five songs on there I like) but I can appreciate that the difference from Rock Band is a good thing.

Conversely Rock Band is getting more and more diverse. Snoop Dogg this week!
