Aye, but it's Rayman - one of the worst characters ever invented. Charismaless, annoying and needlessly "whacky", he ranks just below Bubsy the Bobcat and just above Croc.

You know, you're right, it's quite a bland character. Which makes my love for Rayman 1 and 2 all the more surprising.

I'd rather it was to be honest, I don't see why a basic platformer needs to be episodic! Unless it has a crazily complex and deep story
