wouldn't be a new console launch without the chance to buy Ridge Racer on day 1

An absolutely fantastic line-up. I'm well impressed and the 3DS will be a day 1 purchase for me unless something goes horribly wrong.

I'd ruled out handhelds in future... but that line up is immense!

Er, if that is all confirmed then I am definitely on board.

If a Mario gets announced I might just blow a hole right through the wall

I'm not entirely sure why these weren't shown in video form. Are most of them incredibly early or something?

It's not actually all that long to the launch now, a lot of these games must be all but finished.

OOT looks great but it's a bit of a dissapointing port. Models are redone and some sprites replaced with polygons (presumably because sprites will look awful in 3D) but other than that, seems very little has been done to it. Still, playing OOT at a constant 30fps with proper texture filtering and an adjusted water temple will be good.

The envoironments in RE:R were dissapointingly barren but it's nice the models are as good as the early demos and the frame rate never drops.

Samurai Warriors is possibly the most disappointing of the demos, seems limited to ~6 enemies onscreen.

Still looking promising though, Holding true to the ~gamecube level of power + a few extra graphical effects.

I like the look of Resi, OOT looks alright too but with the way the areas are structured a remixed version of Wind Waker might have been a better showcase.

It's difficult to make out the 3D aspect of the Resident Evil game, but I guess thats down to the fact that we are viewing it through the camera lense, and not our own eyes. Guess it's a case of having to be there to witness it all. But its great that after all these years in the Resident Evil Universe, that the locked door still stops you in its tracks... hehehe

Broken locks, doors locked from the other side FTW!
