Everyone has given it 10/10. It's the masterpiece from the past, brought into today, it's actually an improvement. The easiest 10/10 ever given.

And yet still I find no reason to buy it. I own it (twice) already, and I don't ever want to play it again. So yeah, it's totally a 10, but I'd rather an 8/10 scoring NEW Zelda game instead.

I still don't really get the whole 'remakes' thing yet.

It's hard to explain, but this version feels definitive, an improvement on perfection, if you will.

I don't think it'll kick start 3DS sales, but I do think it probably should.

I think remakes work for certain things, making them portable is one and lifting an old game into HD but done right is the second. I also think it is giving the next generation a chance to experience older games to a standard of what they are used to so when it comes down to it I don't find it cheap but only if it is implemented well.

Indeed, a huge portion of today's gamers won't have ever played it, and my goodness, are they ever missing out.

Same applies to the Team ICO HD remakes for me.

Cool that he named his daughter Zelda! Being a fan of Metroid I of course named my daughter Mother Brain. With hindsight Samus would have been a better option. She'll forgive me one day I'm sure.

Not played OOT since its original release so looking forward to digging the 3ds out for some mammoth (well, 3 hours tops - CURSE YOU BATTERY!) sessions going to all the old haunts.

That advert's almost as awesome has his beard.

Certainly an improvement over the first time...

I told myself I could buy this if I passed my driving test last week. I failed. So I think I'll have to buy it to make myself feel better about not being able to buy it.

I'm not one who is ever fond of ads or even Robin Williams, but I love that Robin Williams ad.

HMV left me a voicemail today to say that my copy had arrived and i couldn't pick it up until sunday (release day here).

                                Nice.
