Absolutely fuming that once again people are playing Rave Racer and I'm not.

It is great to see games making a comeback. Last week, I played a big moving stacked screen Fast and Furious by Raw Thrills. It is clearly based on Crusin Blast.
it was fun enough, but 3 quid for one race means that I played it once and I only saw one other person playing it over 4 days of walking past it. At a quid a go, I would have way clearer memories of the game.
The Godzilla game looks like the same cabinet but with guns.

£3 as well. Even if you're Floyd Mayweather that's utterly ridiculous.

Still, saying that I don't really go to arcades anymore as I feel too old with all the kids, teens and those in their 20s.
The only real arcades I go to these days are those dedicated to old farts like me. I can't beleive I'll be 50 in two years.

You need to get yourself up north to an Arcade Club (preferably Bury). Rent a B&B for a couple of nights and make a weekend out of it for yourself. You won't regret it.
You're right about the actual RAW THRILLS company though. They handle some pretty hot IP and I'm utterly perplexed at how they're pulling off these deals. Their output isn't just subjectively not to my likely, it's total dog****. All of it. Even some of the Chinese companies surfacing (WAHLAP Tech.) have better games.Last edited by dataDave; 28-04-2024, 09:49.

I've been to Arcade Club Bury twice and it is incredible. Bit of a trek for me (south wales) and a more southern location would likely be a frequent visit for myself and a friend.
I make do when in holiday parks with the kids now and play a little when there are dedicated games to support arcades but yeah, the games themselves are mostly terrible and, if not, terrible value for money.
The arcades of old are long gone, unfortunately. Why Sega and the like dont do a multi cab of classics is a mystery to me. Capcom scrolling fighters. A quid for 3 credits or something.
