So what games will you be getting?
Starting sometime in July oh and of course 1200 is the new 800.

The Summer of Arcade shown games were...

Lara Croft and The Guardian of Light (1200)


Hydro Thunder Hurricane


Monday Night Combat (1200)


Castlevania Harmony of Despair (1200)


Limbo (1200)


But we also know the following games are due around the same time but maybe before the promo starts?

I am definitely grabbing Limbo, have been interested in this for a while now. Castlevania may get my spacebucks for the crazyness that I have seen and co-op. Possibly buy Hydro Thunder for the giggles but to be honest it's not the greatest showing this year.

Limbo and HydroThunder are sure buys, all others I have to see when they arrive if they are any good, was hoping to see CrazyTaxi as well in the summer of arcade list..

I'm tempted by Hydro Thunder and Limbo. Monkey Island 2 is a definate purchase and I'm hoping Hydrophobia comes out soon as that's gonna get bought too. Not keen on the look of Monday Night Combat or Castlevania and Death Spank has lost my interest as the more recent vids make it look like there's not going to be enough variety.

Agree about the DC games though, both of them on Day 1

Whilst I'll probably be getting both, I am more interested in the Lara Croft title than I am with the Castlevania one. Never thought I'd say that in a million years.

I am a huge CV fan but all of the footage I've seen of it so far looks poor.

Monkey Island 2 SE would be nice

I've just watched the trailer again for the summer of arcade and I'll be getting them all, some real quality titles are coming out on xbla. Who needs full price games these days

The thing that irks me slightly about Hydrophobia is that it's episodic, and there's already rumours that it'll be getting a disc based release (although that could just be the PSN and PC versions).

I'm all over Limbo and Lara though - after mocking the latter of those when it was first revealed, it's now looking like it could be really good.

The only one I really care about is Limbo, but I can probably wait for the Christmas sale on that. It doesn't feel like the kind of game I want to be playing at the height of summer, it's a winter game.

Surely the wankiest name in the whole history of wanky names.

Tomb Raider looks pretty good. Got a kinda Pandemonium/Wild 9/Dark Alliance feel about it. I see that The Scorpion King has team up with her this time . Dont think I'll be paying full whack for it tho.

Hydro Thunder I never cared for on the PSone & this doesnt do anything for me either.

Monday Night Combat looks like something produced by Sega. Like a cross between Outrigger & Phantasy Star, with a hint of Quake Arena. Looks really good.

I too am a huge Castlevania fan, but not sure about this one.

Wow, Limbo looks truely amazing!!

I'm still playing the 1st Monkey Island so this 1 can wait.

DeathSpank looks like a lot of fun.

None of them are worth the 1200 tho.

Yes that Castlevania title is really plumbing the depths. I might get Limbo if its as good as it looks. I'll probably get Monkey Island 2 on steam and as for the rest i might get them when they are in the offer of the week next year .

The game I am looking forward to on XBLA is Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet which looks frickin awesome, i have no idea if there is a release date for it yet though.

As said in the original post 1200 is the new 800, I couldn't find a confirmed price on Hydro Thunder at the time.
