Giving up on VJ, what am I missing?

I've been unable to get passed level 5 personally, and similar to you I took a few weeks off playing other games. Recently I went back so I could finish the game off, but I found myself unable to bring my skill back up to the level that was required.

I'd really like to see the final levels in the game, but I'm not sure if I have the skill needed to get there. I don't normally play games like VJ, so it really is something completely new to me, but sadly it means I'm just not good enough...even on Kids mode.

ditto....got to Leo on kids mode, and just got really annoyed and gave up.

it is a nice game...with some great sections, excellent characteristion and cool graphics, but unfortunately my main memory of it now is being really pissed off.

Well, in terms of what you are missing...
There is really one more, 'zone' if you will that consists of a few stages if I remember correctly. If you think the five bosses are annoying, well, wait until you get to a point where

You have to beat robo leos and assorted other enemies within a set time limit

But, it is worth going through it though. I think so anyway. Getting to the final boss and completing the game gave me a sense of accomplishment I haven't felt in a while. I do recommend you do what a lot of people on here are saying and start on Kids again, it's what I did before I went on to do it on Adult.

But i have been playing on Kids and guess where i'm stuck ? Yep lvl 5.

How do the boss battles in this game compare to say, Metroid Fusion...? I found some of those bosses damn tough.. Nightmare in particular had me almost tossing my GBA across the room...? I almost found Meta Ripley in Metroid Prime to be very difficult indeed.

Will I pwn at VJ or am I doomed?

I'll still buy it though.. Nightmare was the hardest boss for me in a long long time.. and the sense of satisfaction after he went down was great.

However, can I do that 4 times in a row????

Time to roll up the sleeves and get gaming...
