    Don't hold it that way.

Apple say it's so easy to hold properly that even a chimp can do it, I think it's on youtube.

That's what I tell myself every night, as I weep onto my pillow whilst clutching at the sheets either side of me.

Thought this was worth a post... Tim Schafer has come out and called Kotick a "total prick". http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/sc...-a-total-prick

In reference to the above post, he's saying he didn't realise the microphone was on and it was an accident.

I need to keep my mouth shut. It is shocking how you really burn bridges in the industry. You start your own company and you don't have to work for that jerky boss any more. Not naming names.

Then it's like Empire Strikes Back - you walk in the room and, 'Holy **** Darth Vader's at the table.' It's such a small industry, you see the same people over and over again. No-one ever goes away.

I'm definitely not saying anything about Bobby.

On, off, doesn't matter, he still said the truth. I blame Sue.

About time someone in the industry said it though.

Best fitting thread for this. Kotick wants to release in-game cutscenes on DVD for $20-$30. It won't affect the games but surely this is a daft idea? Any gamers who might be interested would see them during the course of the game anyway and each sequence has a huge gap where the events of the gameplay fit. Filling them means creating tons of extra sequences to fill in the story into 1 narrative which jumps up production costs so they have effectively, a really cheesy and bad DVD movie.

GamesRadar+ takes you closer to the games, movies and TV you love.

A bonus DVD of the quicktime events?

                        He's doing it wrong.

What you do is release the same game again, add in the handful of scenes, a few new enemies, a super hard hidden boss and a cut scene that sets up the next game and charge full price for it.

Call of Duty Black ops final mix!

Sega done something simular with Shenmue but UK buyers got it for free with Xbox Shenmue II.

Eitherway, it seems a fairly useless idea.

Yakuza 3 has something akin to this for 1 & 2. It's surprisingly good if you know what happened in those games and want a refresh, but I can't imagine anyone watching them without any kind of context/prior exposure would have a clue what's going on.

Kotick is still a dick. WoW aside (Which I'm telling myself doesn't count), I've yet to give Activision a single penny since they decided to hike the price on MW2.

I know he prides himself on knowing little about the industry in which he works, but this is a shining example of how knowing **** all about your customer base besides what a sales report tells you leads to poor decisions.

In his defence though, I did once buy a 'Capcom Endings Collection' DVD (I never watched it).
