And my cheapo usb hub works fine in the back for play and charge kit, sd card reader, headphone charger. Haven't tried it for the wifi, but I'm using a network cable now.

You can use larger storage devices, but it still only let's you use 16GB of storage on it, well, after the 500meg it stores, the 15.5GB.

Using that unfortuantely for the Wifi dongle. Thought about using a USB hub around the back to plug in the Wifi and maybe a USB stick, but that will probably slow down network/LIVE access.

I might just save the ?20+ on buying a dedicated 16GB USB stick and put it towards a 250GB HDD though.

I've just bought a new fast stick and it's failed the test for data loss....

Not impressed. Hoping a full format will sort it

Are you guys really trying this out? Were you all using 20GB's or just memory units or something?

lol no, got a 120g HDD. Have no use for this whatsoever, but i'm sure someone out there certainly will. Most people who don't have a 360 yet are probably better off buying an Arcade now and a cheap 16gb memory stick.

I'm going to be using it but only for backing up my saves.

I'd run out of space on my 256MB memory card a couple of months back and had ben trying to get hold of the 512MB cards but hadn't been able to find any. I imagine like most people I've got loads of redundant flash memory cards which had been replaced by larger ones so it's essentially a free bonus for me.

I've got no need to back up anything else as I've still got over 80GBs of my 250GB drive available.

I don't think so, I'm pretty sure PES Option Files are tied to your gamertag

You can already get decent PES option files if you know someone who has the HDD transfer kit, you use that to connect your HDD direct to the PC and then use software to copy the option file direct onto the HDD.

                      Works a treat.

This is a blessing for me. I regularly go between two machines in my lounge and study so had to use a memory card till now and keeping game saves in synch was a chore. Now I've got 16GB to play with on a spare USB key I can chuck my pathetic memory card away.

Why not just keep EVERYTHING on your hdd, and use it between your 2 xboxes? Thats what I do, so much easier than messing about with memory cards. All DLC, saves and gamertags in one place! The HDD is really just a big memory card.

A HDD is pretty unreliable compared to a memory card. I definately try to keep a copy of my most important save files as these cannot be recovered or re-downloaded.

Also apparently some of the gamesaves under you profile won't transfer (Mass Effect 2 apparently one of these) so the whole point of putting your saves on a USB stick is rendered ****ing useless anyway!

                            I hate DRM'd game-saves.
Wouldn't it be possible to boot up the game, load your save and then save directly to the mem stick?

Looks kinda cool, but don't really see the point of changing it again? It doesn't look that much different from the old one. Cleaner, though.
