    August?!
That's a lot sooner than I expected, with Kinect launching November I thought a new dash would have launched September, alongside Reach.

Reminds me of the wii channel interface.

I quite like the design but it does only look like a slightly different version of the current one.

One thing I really don't like about the current version and this update is that they have the NXE running but then have the guide on top of it which is a smaller version that does exactly the same thing.

Get rid of the NXE, perhaps make the guide a bit bigger and have the avatar standing...somewhere.

I do quite like the Kinect version but I hope you don't have to pay £130 to get that version on your 360.

What's the hand cursor for? Is it the on screen representation of your realselfs gestures so you can see where you're pointing?

            It's £69 for 4 accounts!

What you are saying makes about as much sense as refusing to buy a 6 packet multipack of crisps for 99p because a single packet only costs 35p!

This reminds me of the new Windows Phone 7 design for some reason.

Can't put my finger on why...

Your right, I am wrong. Its ****ing great value, not very expensive at all.

I am not buying one though. Enjoy

No it isnt. When I buy multipack crisps I get multiple flavours. With live, one account can do the same thing.

I don't like the way my last post got sandwiched between those two. It has made me feel dirty.

I generally only DO one thing with my crisps. Crush them up in the bags and return them to the manufacturer along with a snotty letter.

It would be better to just have one gold sub which spans across all accounts. Bind to console or something.

The NNXE just looks more colourful, is it for everyone or just Kinect users?

                          I imagine for everyone.
Hopefully it isn't just for new consoles

Would it be useful for house sharers? Can people buy it and spread it across multiple xboxes?

New dash looks slightly better but if it still takes multiple button presses to get to the XBL content then it's another failed redesign.

Just been digging about this Family Sub noticed these.

                              Exclusive family content and discounts.

Perfect for families, the Xbox LIVE Gold Family Pack will also offer access to additional conveniences and services including the new Family Center, accessible on the Xbox dashboard and Xbox.com for easier family management, access to activity monitoring reports, and the ability to purchase and give Microsoft Points to other Xbox LIVE Gold Family Pack members.

                              Intersting.
I wonder if you can sub with friends, £17.49 each to the pot. All pop your profiles on same xbox, redeem the card as a family and reap the rewards...?
