Sorry to bump this with bad news but up until recently the release date on Nintendo's UK site was Summer 2010. It now reads TBD. Probaly not a good sign.

That makes me sad because as many people as possible should be able to play one of WiiWare's best titles.

This is super-depressing news. It's 2 years late now from original release promise! Hope the TBD isn't the death-knell, though. I know the US release was bugged to **** but I hope that's not reason to dump it...?!?!

There were problems with the remixed music not playing or looping properly, and the map system was broken to the point it crashed the game if you used it in certain areas.
Didn't stop me from playing through it 3 times. Such a shame it hasn't been released over here yet. I'm not holding my breath for other games such as La Mulana either

I too thought this was great, another reason NTSC Wii ownership is better then PAL - seems importing isnt quite dead...

Never noticed any of those - still, if that's all that's stopping them from releasing the game over here Nintendo / Nicalis should be ashamed of themselves.

Nicalis have just tweeted that the game's been rated by PEGI - there's still hope!

Yeah i was reading that so that means i'll have to get a DSi or a 3DS to play it , still waiting for it on the Wii

Or you could just play the PC version I found the Wiiware one lost some charm by remixing the music and giving the graphics some polish, although to be fair you could switch both those to original mode. Shame the same can't be said for the new translation though.

On another note, did anyone manage to finish "Hell"?
