Edit: Apparently there are 2 games - "Street Fighter x Tekken" and "Tekken x Street Fighter"

Rumor (not found a official source for this): Street Fighter Cross Tekken will be done in SFIV visual style with Street Fighter 2D gameplay (made by Capcom).
Tekken Cross Street Fighter will be done in Tekken visual style with Tekken 3D gameplay (made by Namco-Bandai).

Sounds like the stupidest match up ever, hope i'm proved wrong. Capcom needs to slowdown a bit and focus on the fighting titles they already have, they don't want a repeat of what happened that made them stop a decade ago.

Why do 2 games? Oh yeah... because this crossover doesn't work! Not without ruining 1 of the series. SF style Tekken? Urgh. Tekken style SF? Yack. It's this kind of stupid release that killed the series last time. Street Fighter 5 just moved back a couple more years.

I like Tekken and I like Street Fighter and the screenshots look decent. Obviously both games usually play pretty different, but I have faith that this can be good.

Anyway, from viewing a decent quality cam video of the gameplay footage that was shown, I am glad to see that it looks like Ryu's got his HCF+K back from 3S. Hooray!

As I thought Tekken characters look horrible with SF4's fugly artstyle and their animation looks even worse although it's very very early footage. The gameplay does at least look more exciting than SF4 though with new moves, different combo system and tagging. Hopefully there'll be plenty more additions and they won't play it too safe like they did with SF4.

Don't forgot Namco are supposed to be developing their own version of SF vs Tekken as well which hasn't been shown yet.

I know some are expecting these games to be a travesty but I'm not gonna be too pessimistic until I learn more and I don't even like SF4 or Tekken 6 that much.
