For me this and Alpha 3 (Saturn) are the best 2d fighters ever and possibly the best fighters ever. Alpha 3 is the total package whereas 3rd strike has the excellent parrying system and is for the more experienced fighting game players.

And like a few others have mentioned i also didn't care for SFIV, didn't like the graphics or gameplay compared to Alpha 3 and 3rd strike.

To think i slated the game for weird character designs way back, but as it stands Urien is my all time fav sf3 character, with oro a close second.

This is the only thing that has held me back from loving the game. I hate some of the characters. I much prefer the more realistic style characters of this and KoF to people like Urien and Oro.

Nailed the Ken dragon punch earlier on my second attempt with a TE stick. Only for me to practically go mental trying to do the Hugo one.

I just spent another wasted 30 mins of my life trying to parry Ken's fierce dragon punch again to no avail!!

You're crap! Maybe you should stick to HDR?

Gonna start the trials today, I bet I'll ace your one in 2 seconds!

The above was said in jest but, hilariously, it did just take me about four goes. My tip(if you can call it a tip, being derived from a fluke) is to parry the first two hits by pressing down instead of forward. I dunno, but I feel I can press down more easily than forward. I kept mucking up when parrying all three standing.
