My fiancee just came home from a business trip to Gifu and told me she had a meeting at Nippon-Ichi's HQ! Bizarrely enough (as she works for an English school) they have signed a contract to design her company website.

Sounds like geek overload on the staff there... not really surprising. She was the only female there and not one Nippon-Ichi employee would make eye contact even when talking directly to her.

There was a large mural of all their characters on the wall, all of whom were either (in her words) "large boobs or no boobs". Her colleague actually asked the president why, lol.

I asked her if she could hook me up with a job but she says they don't speak to each other at all (not even in Japanese) so they apparently have zero need for an English speaker on the staff
