PS Eye - Uploading

Recently got an eye. (i'm on 3.41)

I've made several test videos after the update.

I export...got to uploader - add, then get this message..

you cannot add content items that were copied to the system with system software versions earlier than 3.40, or copyright-protected content items

??

I've read I can copy onto external or usb stick and copy back.
(I just don't have one to hand)

Surely this isn't the only way around it!? Its probably me!!

The videos were of me, not gameplay...can you actually add videos of yourself?

Thats the procedure (tried by myself) copy to a usb stick (or any external device) delete, put back - and it works...why oh why?
