You have to search with quotes for that sort of thing, though. But who knew that Danniella Westbrook once reviewed Space Hulk? Perhaps she was one of the aforementioned celebrity "rides".

Regardless of not having played the game before because it was only available on import, Perry was woeful on that challenge. Every video I've seen of Dominik Diamond outside of GM he's seemed, as others have said, very self deprecating and good humoured, lots of times he made fun of himself in comparison to his guests. Just check out his site, I don't think there's an arrogant bone in his body. Series 3 with Dexter Fletcher nearly killed GM for me, but Diamond made the later series so good I still watch them regularly today. The cancellation of GM was as gutting as Thumb Bandits' cancellation imo.

Got a bunch on tape still. There's some on youtube and a few other sites as well.

I know him more from his work on Games World magazine. Some of the books given away with the mag he compliled were decent enough, and he took his fighters of the day (SSFII, MKII etc.) very seriously. Always claimed he was the master, of course

Tis indeed, Rab from Consolevania. Independint Charles was a good sign that he hadn't given up entirely on making shows about games, although Downtime Town is really good as well.

I thought Dexter Fletcher was great in GM. He was in his crack and Super Tenants stage at the time. He lived near my street and we used to walk our dogs together.

                      Good fella.
                      Kept you waiting, huh?

There goes the name dropping bomb!

Did he even know you were there?

He was doing hard drugs while renting out houses to excellent people?

He speaks some bull**** during this interview... "got beat by a couple of seconds"? He fell off the bloody slope and died, that's not "a couple of seconds".

And iirc the first guy hardly played that slide as perfectly as it could have been done minus the shortcut drop.

Anyone who writes off nintendo games as simply cutesy and nothing more obviously isnt a very hardcore gamer. In fact he dosent sound like he likes games much at all.

The interview is good in the questions it asks but it still works best as evidence that the man is a nob who talks utter rubbish.
