Just been announced at gamescom from Insomniac, 4 player co-op drop in, drop out play.


Must admit I do like a good R&C game. Co-op is apprently looking good for 4 players. It was being demonstrated on stage at gamescom sony press conference.

The multiplayer side of things looked a bit like LittleBigPlanet in the way that players could knock each other around.

Will be buying this for absolute certain. R&C games are like a breath of fresh air in a world full of games that are brown, grey and first person shooters.

That game looks so full of win! R&C games are so polished. This already looks brilliant!

Can't say the trailer does much for me. Co-op platforming isn't a great corner of gaming and the gunplay in the R&C games isn't strong enough to make a shooter angled game from so this will be pure throwaway for me. Seems like this gens novelty entry into the series like Deadlock was where they play about with the mechanics for an installment. I was hoping there'd be a thorough shake up but it's pretty much a co-op title made from the last games assets. I might have a gander but I'll be mainly waiting for the next 'true' sequel.
