Tokyo Game Show 2010 Hype Thread

Famitsu spoiling the big announcements: 14th September

Last year was pants with very few big surprises but this year we've a new console around the corner and developers have decided the Wii isn't profitable after all and are moving to PS360 development.

MS have a keynote, as does one other mystery company (probably Sony). Nintendo have an event a week after TGS where the price and release date for the 3DS gets announced.

My hopes:

Persona 5 (even if it's just a teaser)
DQX
That KH 3DS isn't a enhanced remake
Lots of stuff to get me even more excited about the 3DS
Resident Evil reboot
TWEWY2 (I can dream...)

Don't think we'll see a PSP2 unless that's the reason behind the secrecy for the second keynote. 'Sony' and 'secrecy' aren't two words that go together though.

please make it closer to either RE4 or REmake. If Western = even more of a cover shooter, I'll lose a lot of interest. Cargo ship bit of RE5 was awful.

They said RE6 would be a reboot but then, Capcom change their minds at the drop of a hat when it comes to RE. I still wish we could've seen the hookman RE3.5 get a release of some sort.

I'm limited to one console now so it's only really going to be the PS3 stuff that I'm interested in.

I think like many people seeing The Last Guardian as well as finally getting confirmation of Ico & Shadow of The Colossus Collection will be more than enough for me.

Sony did state after GamesCom that they would be announcing 3 new PS3 exclusives at TGS. I'm presuming that one may be Tokyo Jungle which Famitsu have just shown but they could be anything really.

There was talking on the PlayStation Blog yesterday about Dreamcast games and it was confirmed Sonic Adventure would appear around the same time it does on Xbox Live.

I'm not personally interested in that I'd love Sega to announce Crazy Taxi as well as a MOVE compatible House of The Dead Collection, Virtua Cop Collection as well as stuff like Jambo Safari.

Maybe even a Point Blank Collection from Namco too? I'd love a new Ridge Racer as it's been ages since the last one.

I'm not really interested in anything Konami could bring to the show themselves but Kojima has been hinting about a few things so we may get something from him.

Can't say I'm expecting much of this years TGS. With the recent mutterings from Square I guess they'll show Versus XIII

I really hope The Last Guardian is there. In terms of Japanese titles, thatt's really the only game that I'm interested in right now. Capcom sre not expected to have anything new, but it would be a nice surprise. Mind you, it'd be nice to see the 3DS launch titles, mainly Ridge Racer and Resident Evil.

I want Konami to announce they're shifting their Bemani titles to PS3 since the PS2 is dead. It's more likely that the PSP will get them if they even bother to make them at all.
